Rivel has just completed its biennial compensation study among head IROs in Europe and North America. What they found is encouraging. Overall remuneration of senior-most IROs remains fairly generous (but it varies by geography). Job satisfaction is quite high, with over two-thirds of European and North American IROs reporting that they are “very satisfied” with their jobs. Plus, there are unambiguous signs that the gender compensation gap is rapidly narrowing.
